Church of England Funerals

At Holy Trinity, we are here to offer God's love, care and support at times of bereavement.

Funerals can be held in church for anyone who lives in, or has any significant connection to the parish, regardless of whether they attended church.  All are welcome and we are privileged to play a part at this most important time.  Our clergy are also able to officiate at funerals at crematoria or cemeteries.

Although there are some things that must be included in a Church of England funeral, there is also a lot of flexibility to make the service personal and as you would like it to be.

The usual process is to contact a funeral director and indicate your wishes.  They will then get in touch with us to arrange the details.  If it would be helpful, however you can contact our Vicar, Mother Katy, directly.
